An opinion on the dreaded Durian I recall from the Lonely Planet South East Asia edition.

Looks like shit, smells like shit and tastes like shit. Durian flavoured Ice cream is better, it still smells and tastes like shit but at least it looks like ice cream.

I've had it once, in Cambodia. Never heard of it or seen it since. Can't remember what it tastes like, although the memory is positive. Don't think it would work on pizza, though.
